Cross-Country Road Trip Days 8
After we got up, we took daddy to have breakfast at the Route 74 Restaurant. They know daddy pretty well and like to tease him.
I dropped daddy back home then drove Wanda to Lancaster where she would stay with her cousin for the next week.
On the way home, I stopped and got my car washed inside and out at Mister Car Wash. It had been covered in bugs on the grill and side mirrors and really dirty.
I got home and changed into my bike kit, then went on an 11-mile bike ride around Gifford Pinchot State Park. I started on the more rustic Lake Trail and soon found out it was better suited for mountain bikes. After going around haf the lake on that trail, I enough of the roots and rocks. Plus, the trail fizzled and it would have involved crossing over a very rocky stream. I found the highway and rode back home that way. Once home, I took a two-hour nap.
