STP Ambassador

I have been chosen to be an ambassador this year for the Cascade Seattle to Portland ride!

This will be my first time riding it (July 16-17, 2023) and I’m super excited! I will be riding it on my Rad Mission, an ebike with only one gear. I have three batteries, but after riding 90 miles on only two batteries in Palm Springs, I’m sure I have enough juice to do a little over 100 miles each of the two days! An ebike gives me a lot of freedom. I’m trying to transition to a regular road bike, but with all the hills in Seattle, it’s been tough.

At age 64, this is a huge milestone for me – I didn’t start riding seriously until May 2020 and rode my first event ride in April 2021.
