Cross-Country Road Trip Day 6
We departed Indiana and drove to Niagara Falls, NY. We checked into our hotel mid-afternoon, so I was able to do a 13 mile bike ride around the area. It was my first time at Niagara Falls and there were good bike trails for exploring!
Halfway through my ride, I stopped to take a drink of water. A shaved ice truck was parked near me and I asked if he took only cash. He did and I was bummed because I only had a debit card with me. The guys was very sweet and gave me a freebie. Not only did I get to enjoy the flavored ice, but he also gave me a fruit and nut protein pack.
Back at the hotel, we ate at the attached “international” restaurant which mainly featured Indian food with some pasta and pizza thrown in. It was ok, but not that satisfying. Even worse, I ordered a mojito and it was so strong that I couldn’t taste anything but the alcohol and couldn’t finish it.
It was a long day and I think I was asleep by 8pm.
