Finishing the Virtual Easter Island Ride

Today was a beautiful day to ride in the Pacific northwest! The sky was blue and it was in the high 40s. While layers were still in order, I was quite comfortable with the temperature (except for my nose, which stayed cold).

Seventeen of us rode 33 miles through Bellevue and around Lake Sammamish.

The ride also allowed me to complete the virtual ride of Easter Island. I’ll never have the opportunity to ride there for real, but the app lets me see a 360° view along the route. I also get to send virtual postcards as I made progress. Now I wait for my finisher medal to arrive.
