Kitsap Color Classic 2024
It was a gorgeous day to ride the Kitsap Color Classic. In past years, it usually rained and I would get soaked (usually near the end or waiting for the ferry back to Seattle).
I drove to Edmonds and parked, then rode my bike over to the ferry. There was already a large line of cyclists waiting in spite of this being the first of three to take riders to Kingston to the start of the ride.
I was an outrider for the event and opted to stick to the short route. I did the longer route last year and the one hill just about killed me it was so steep! I also deviated from the route a bit to see the lighthouse at Point No Point. I wasn’t the only one who took the side trip.
