Rota
Last night Marcus had purchased some croissants and juice so we could have some breakfast. Our apartment is pretty cute and I got a great deal on it since the tourist season was about a week away.
Marcus picked us up this morning and took us to his apartment. It had three levels…the downstairs had the living room, kitchen and 3/4 bathroom. The second floor had two bedrooms, a full bath and a small laundry area. The top floor was the roof terrace which had great views and a nice place to dry laundry and grow vegetables. We needed to do laundry, so we made use of that terrace!
Marcus had to go back to work, so Haylee walked us to the beach where we could get lunch while she took MJ to an appointment. It was lovely eating by the water and drinking tinto de verona.
When Haylee and MJ returned, we stopped by a market to pick up some food to eat back at our apartment, mainly coffee, tea, and breakfast stuff.
For dinner that night, Haylee made some chicken and corn along with warming up some paella. We contributed some meats and cheeses along with some good bread. It was a lovely evening and we hated to go back to our apartment for the night.
I got up around 8:30 am and made breakfast for William and myself. After relaxing for a bit, we gathered up a day bag and starting walking to Marcus’ apartment. I believed it would be too chilly to actually go swimming today.
Haylee was at a doctor’s appointment so we killed time by checking out the small fort and church. We then stopped for coffee at a café near their apartment for some coffee, tea and a sandwich (I don’t recall what kind, but it was very delicious).
Once the kids were home, we meandered to their place and checked out some shops getting there in time for a siesta. In the evening we had dinner and more walking before going back to our apartment.
