This year I am supporting four different organizat

This year I am supporting four different organizations through fundraising and bike riding.

Each of these charities mean something to me. I live with diabetes and so do members of my family so this is one of the most important fundraisers I can help. A neighbor of mine has a grown son with ALS that isn't doing very well. It's hard to know how to help physically with her situation but I can at least help raise some money to defeat this terrible disease. For the second time I am riding bike MS because two friends are living with MS and I want to support them. Finally, my dad has COPD and his wife died of lung cancer so I ride reach the beach the help raise money.

We had such a fun ride today! Even though it was supposed to be colder than the previous two days, I felt pretty darn good the whole ride. After the ride half of this had a bite to eat at the blue star cafe and got to chat. Such a great day!

Another short ride today. I was helping with the food rescue by bike but PCC did not have enough food for all of us to carry to the food bank. Since it was so bloody cold, I decided I wasn't really needed and came back home.

Since I no longer have a navel after my panniculectomy surgery, I decided to use temporary tattoos to replace my belly button. You can just see my healing incision above my pajama bottoms.
